The winner of the previous contest knew that in The Youngest Templar: Keeper of the Grail, Tristan says the garden was his main contribution to the abbey.

For answering correctly, One Grand Prize winner will receive a signed copy of Spy Goddess: Live & Let Shop, a signed teaser pamphlet introducing The Youngest Templar, and a nice Youngest Templar pen (not a cheapie pen -- this is a good one), just in time to write yourself a note to go out and get The Youngest Templar. It was a quiet and calm existence, but the work was endless. The garden was my main contribution to the abbey. Brother Tuck and I tended it from planting in the spring to harvest in the fall. Working the hoe through the soil was quiet work, and gave me much time to think. The garden sat in a sunny spot behind the abbey, and once the rainy spring was over, the weather was usually fine and fair.

Remember, if you are under 18 years old, you should get a parent's permission before you submit any information about yourself online. Even if it is to win a cool book. Winners who will be under 18 at the contest's close will be required to mail in a signed permission slip attesting to it being okay for Michael to send the under 18 winner his or her prize. Sorry about how lame that is, but it's the law and let's keep Michael above it. If for no other reason than it's hard to write fiction in prison what with all the time needed for digging tunnels with spoons and such.

Only entries received through this website will be considered eligible. Odds of winning are dependent upon number of eligible entries received. Only one entry per person, please. Duplicate entries will be voided.

Any prize or prize notification returned to Michael Spradlin as undeliverable will result in the awarding of that prize to an alternate winner. Sorry, no cash equivalent.

No purchase necessary. The answer to Michael’s contest can almost always be found on this website. And in the rare case of needing to look into an actual book, please utilize a local library as Michael’s books are regularly available through most library systems.
