Congrats!
The winner of the previous contest knew that in The Youngest Templar: Orphan of Destiny, Tristan decides against trading Sir Thomas' ring in for horses because it would leave a clear clue for Sir Hugh if he were to follow them.

For answering correctly, one lucky winner will receive a signed copy of The Youngest Templar: Keeper of the Grail.

From the sneak peek excerpt of The Youngest Templar: Orphan of Destiny:

Robard shook his head. "I said sailing is not as hard as it looks. Navigating is an entirely different matter. We'll just need to find the nearest town or village to find out where we are. Then we'll see about horses. You still have money?" I nodded. I also had Sir Thomas' ring, but trading it for horses would leave a clear clue for Sir Hugh if he followed us here.

Remember, if you are under 18 years old, you should get a parent's permission before you submit any information about yourself online. Even if it is to win a cool book. Winners who will be under 18 at the contest's close will be required to mail in a signed permission slip attesting to it being okay for Michael to send the under 18 winner his or her prize. Sorry about how lame that is, but it's the law and let's keep Michael above it. If for no other reason than it's hard to write fiction in prison what with all the time needed for digging tunnels with spoons and such.

You must include ALL pieces of information requested in the form above, or your entry isn't complete. Winners will be chosen at random from all correct and complete entries. International entries are accepted.

Only entries received through this website will be considered eligible. Odds of winning are dependent upon number of eligible entries received. Only one entry per person, please. Duplicate entries will be voided.

Winner[s] will be notified by e-mail within 30 days of the drawing and names may or may not get posted to this website. All winner name listings will be name and city of residence only so as to protect the privacy of the winner. Except as required by law, Michael Spradlin will not share entrant information with any third parties. Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use the winner's name, hometown, likeness, and any text submitted for purposes of Michael’s advertising and promotion without further compensation.

Any prize or prize notification returned to Michael Spradlin as undeliverable will result in the awarding of that prize to an alternate winner. Sorry, no cash equivalent.

No purchase necessary. The answer to Michael’s contest can almost always be found on this website. And in the rare case of needing to look into an actual book, please utilize a local library as Michael’s books are regularly available through most library systems.

Please note that while Michael does read all your entries, he is unable to respond personally to them.

All contest entrants will be automatically subscribed to Michael’s advertisement-free e-newsletter! (Unsubscribing is straightforward.)

Neither Michael nor his web team shall be held responsible for technical failures in entry transmission, or for any damage to participant's computer occasioned by participation in this contest/promotion or downloading any information necessary to participate in the promotion.

Employees and contractors of any of Michael’s contracted (at the time of the contest's duration) publishers, agents, and/or hired contractors (web design, publicists, etc) and affiliated companies and members of those employees'/contractors' immediate families are not eligible.
